Enter: the Dash Rapid Egg Cooker, which is now my absolute favorite kitchen gadget that I own. I don’t wanna stand over the stove waiting for the right moment to flip my omelet or constantly guess how many minutes will make the difference between medium- and hard-boiled eggs. "I love eggs but I don’t love cooking them. Now, we just need to make one of these machines for like, all the other foods I am too lazy to Google instructions for, and then I will be set for life." I have still been faithfully eating my beloved Dash eggs every day in lockdown and now have my whole family in on it too. They’re also so nice to have pre-made in the fridge for when I’m having leftovers like pizza or rice and want to add a little egg in to jazz them up. I also just love having eggs on hand because they are a ridiculously versatile food that's usually hard to transport or motivate yourself to cook, but the egg cooker makes it so easy that a few years ago I went from like, being an accidental vegetarian who never eats protein (I mostly live off bread and cheese, not gonna lie) to like, BOOM, delicious breakfast protein seven days a week. The love was aggressive and real.) Every single Sunday without fail, I have cooked my perfectly precise medium-boiled eggs to put in the fridge and save for weekday breakfasts, and they are truly the highlight of my morning (breakfast is truly the most hyped up, deliciously prepared meal of my day and I take it VERY SERIOUSLY!!). (This predated me becoming a shopping editor, so it was not my job to do that. "I bought my Dash egg cooker a few years ago and immediately fell so in love with it that I not only convinced five coworkers to buy one but also sent one to my parents.
